Our tip: If you want accommodation right on the Amalfi Coast, we recommend the town of Maiori, where there is a beach and accommodations are at a lower price than in other towns on the coast. From Naples, you can reach it by train/Flixbus to the city of Salerno (40 minutes) and from there by bus/boat to Maiori (50 minutes).
