The flights are from Vienna during November 2024 - during the main season. Many dates can be combined from October 2024 to February 2025.
The transfer in Abu Dhabi is not secured both there and back (there 3:25 hours, back 9:35 hours), or you can also make a longer stopover and see Dubai. Tickets need to be purchased in 2 separate reservations: Vienna - Abu Dhabi and Abu Dhabi - Maldives (transfer is at your own risk).
There are many dates to choose from October 2024 to February 2025. The main season here lasts from October to April (dry period), but we do not recommend traveling during Ramadan (February 28 - March 29, 2025).

These tickets do not provide a transfer service - in case of a delay and subsequent missed flight, the responsibility is yours. However, there is ample transfer time, which should be adequate even in case of a delay.
Arrival to the Maldives happens around 7:00 am and departure is around 8:00 am - there might occur situations when some boats from the airport to the islands do not operate at suitable times - verify this directly with your accommodation if they have a boat on the given day that connects with your flights. If not, you may need to spend your first or last night on the island of Hulhumalé near the airport, for example in the hotel h78**** (recommended).
We can recommend these local islands in the Maldives: Ukulhas and Dhiffushi (we visited these two), but Thoddoo, Maafushi, Dhigurah, Gulhi or Rasdhoo are also great.
If you have a longer transfer in Abu Dhabi, we recommend the hotel Premier Inn Abu Dhabi International Airport*** - it's located directly at the airport. Or in the city, we recommend Traders Hotel****, close to the Grand Mosque and about 20 minutes by taxi from the airport for a few euros.
