This ticket does not include a guaranteed transfer - in case of delay and subsequent missing of another flight, it is at your own responsibility. However, there is a longer time for the transfer, which should be sufficient even in case of a delay.
You arrive in the Maldives around 7:00 am and leave the Maldives around 8:00 am - there might be some boats from the airport to the islands not operating at suitable times - find out directly at the accommodation if they have a boat on that day that matches these flights. If not, you may need to spend the first or last night on the island of Hulhumalé near the airport, for example, in the hotel h78**** (recommended).
We can recommend these local islands in the Maldives: Ukulhas and Dhiffushi (we visited these two), but Thoddoo, Maafushi, Dhigurah, Gulhi or Rasdhoo are also great.
If you have a longer transfer in Abu Dhabi, we recommend the Premier Inn Abu Dhabi International Airport*** - it is right at the airport. Alternatively, we recommend the Traders Hotel**** in the city, close to the Grand Mosque, and it is about 20 minutes by taxi from the airport for a few euros.
