These tickets do not guarantee a transfer - in the event of a delay and subsequent missed next flight, this is at your own responsibility. However, there is a longer time for the transfer, which should be sufficient even in case of delay.
You arrive in the Maldives around 7:00 in the morning and leave from the Maldives around 8:00 in the morning - it may happen that some boats from the airport to the islands do not run at suitable times - find this out directly at the accommodation, whether they have a boat on that day that connects to these flights. If not, as needed, you have to spend the first or last night on the island of Hulhumalé near the airport, for example in the hotel h78**** (recommended).
We can recommend these local islands in the Maldives: Ukulhas and Dhiffushi (these two we visited), but Thoddoo, Maafushi, Dhigurah, Gulhi or Rasdhoo are also great.
If you have a longer transfer in Abu Dhabi, we recommend the Premier Inn Abu Dhabi International Airport*** - it is directly at the airport. Alternatively, in the city we recommend the Traders Hotel****, close to the Grand Mosque and about 20 minutes from the airport by taxi for a few euros.
