From the airport, you can get around the island by local buses or taxi. You can reach Kardamena resort by bus for €2.30 - you can check the timetables on this page: https://ktel-kos.gr/en/airport-itineraries/. Alternatively, a taxi from the airport to Kardamena costs €20.

We recommend accommodation in the resort of Kardamena in the south of the Kos Island. The beach, stretching for 4km, is one of the longest on the island, with fine sand and a gradual entry into the sea. On the beach, you can rent pedal boats and other water sports. From Kardamena, you can also go on various boat trips, for example to the island of Nissyros, whose dominant feature is a dormant volcano.

On Kos you can enjoy long sandy beaches and crystal clear waters, which are ideal for swimming and water sports. Among the most popular beaches are Tigaki and Marmari, where you can just relax or go windsurfing or kitesurfing. The island also offers great opportunities for cycling and exploring lesser-known areas by bike.
