From the airport, you can travel around the island by local buses or taxi. The bus from the airport goes to the bus station in the city of Chania, where you can switch to other buses, for example to the coastal town of Agia Marina, where we recommend accommodation.

We can travel to Greece without restrictions, just an ID card is needed.

Near the old town is the harbour, which is ideal for evening strolls. Here you can sit in one of the many restaurants or cafes, watch the sun go down and enjoy the atmosphere of the harbour. The harbour is particularly lively in the evenings when various cultural and social events are held here.

The area around Chania also offers beautiful beaches, such as Elafonissi with its characteristic pink sand and crystal clear water, which is ideal for swimming and snorkelling. The area is also known for its spectacular mountain scenery and opportunities for hiking or cycling, making Chania the perfect place for a holiday that combines relaxation on the beach with active exploration of nature and culture.
