Our tip: If you want accommodation directly on the Amalfi Coast, we recommend the town of Maiori, which has a beach and accommodations are cheaper than in other towns on the coast. You can get here from Naples by train/Flixbus to the city of Salerno (40 minutes) and from there by bus/boat to Maiori (50 minutes).
Sample 4-day itinerary for the Amalfi Coast, Capri and Naples:
Day 1 - Amalfi Coast:
- Amalfi: Walk around the picturesque harbor town and visit the Cathedral of St. Ondrej.
- Ravello: Enjoy wonderful views from Villa Rufolo and Villa Cimbrone.
- Positano: Stop in this iconic town with colorful houses and relax on Spiaggia Grande beach.
Day 2 - Island of Capri:
